Music Design
This vinyl cover was a redesign for an existing album by Victoria Monet called ‘Jaguar.’ The album is a rich blend of R&B, disco, and pop, giving it a sound that many have described as “shimmery” or “glowy.” My aim with this design was to take inspiration from the way the music sounds and transform that aesthetic into a vinyl cover. I pulled inspiration from the imagery used in the music videos and visualizers for ‘Jaguar.’ The accompanying magazine covers were meant to test my ability to adapt to the aesthetics of several artists while remaining true to a consistent set of brand guidelines.
